In 2024, the Temirtau Higher Medical College accepts applicants for the following specialties:
Based on Basic Secondary Education (Grade 9)
Daytime Education
- Medical Practice (qualification – paramedic) with instruction in Kazakh and Russian languages – duration of study 3 years 10 months, 390,000 tenge per year
- Nursing (qualification – general practice nurse) with instruction in Kazakh and Russian languages – duration of study 3 years 10 months (100 places under the state quota, 10 places – on a fee-paying basis, 390,000 tenge per year)
Based on General Secondary Education (Grade 11)
Daytime Education
- Nursing (qualification – applied bachelor of nursing) with instruction in Russian – duration of study 3 years 6 months, 390,000 tenge per year
- Pharmacy (qualification – pharmacist) with instruction in Russian – duration of study 2 years 10 months, 390,000 tenge per year
Based on General Secondary Education (Grade 11)
Evening Education
- Nursing (qualification – general practice nurse) with instruction in Russian – duration of study 3 years 10 months, 350,000 tenge per year
Based on Post-Secondary Education
Daytime Education
- Nursing – accelerated form of education (qualification – applied bachelor of nursing) with instruction in Russian – duration of study 1 year 6 months, 390,000 tenge per year
For applicants with:
- Diploma in the specialty 09130100 “Nursing” with qualification “General Practice Nurse”
- Diploma in the specialty 09130100 “Nursing” with qualification “Specialized Medical Nurse”
- Diploma in the specialty 09120100 “Medical Practice” with a specialist certificate in the specialty “Nursing”
- Work experience of at least three years.
The admission of applications for training at the Temirtau Higher Medical College is carried out from June 20 to August 20.
The working hours of the admission committee are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 14:00. Sundays and public holidays are days off!
Documents for admission are submitted personally by adults, while minors should be accompanied by a legal representative.
Document Checklist:
- Application (to be filled out at the college during document submission)
- Diploma of 11th or 9th grade (original) + copy of the diploma
- Medical certificate (Form 075) + photo for medical examination, report from a narcologist, and psychiatrist’s report
- 4 passport-sized photos (3×4 cm) – with full name written on the back of each photo
- Identification document + 3 copies + Electronic Signature Key on an electronic device (flash drive)
- Birth certificate + 3 copies + Individual Identification Number (IIN)
- Binder (cardboard) – 1 piece and envelope (plain without stamps) – 2 pieces
- Vaccination passport (Form 063)
Additionally, please provide for review:
- Copy of employment record (for employed individuals) or a certificate from the workplace
- Copy of marriage certificate (in case of surname change)
- Military service record (for males, original and photocopy)
- Documents confirming the status of “Orphan” and guardianship (if applicable)
- Documents confirming disability status (if applicable)
Admission to the program is based on competitive evaluation of education documents and psychometric testing.
For applicants who have completed:
- 9th grade: Kazakh or Russian language, chemistry, biology + psychometric testing
- 11th grade: History of Kazakhstan, Kazakh or Russian language, chemistry, biology + psychometric testing
The date of psychometric testing will be provided on the day of document submission.
