On April 10, 2026, a round table discussion titled “Medicine of the Future: Technology and Human Attitude” was held at the medical college as part of the subject week of Cycle Commission No. 3 under the theme “The Future of Medicine: Technology or Human?”.
The event was organized by Tatyana Leonidovna Vasilyeva, a lecturer in specialized disciplines. Third-year students of group LD 239A, majoring in General Medicine, took part in the discussion.
During the round table, participants addressed key issues such as the role of communication in medical practice, causes of conflicts between patients and medical staff, patients’ rights, the formation of first impressions of medical institutions, and the potential use of artificial intelligence in medicine.
The event was conducted in the format of an active discussion with interactive elements. Students analyzed practical cases, developed patient communication skills, and explored effective ways to resolve conflicts.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of balancing modern technologies with a humane approach to patient care, as well as the need to develop strong communication competencies in future healthcare professionals.
